“The Buying Revolution – how the digitalized consumer transforms trade, brands and marketing.”

The digitalization of society is one of our times greatest and most revolutionary changes. With the new technique the consumer and the buying process gets more digital, completely changing the conditions for many businesses. In the ongoing “Buying Revolution” the trade is on the frontline and it’s interface is changing quickly.

What happens when the consumers rule, not the brands? And in which ways is this revolution affecting the way we do business, marketing, brand positioning and organisation?

Patrik Stoopendahl works as a consult and business anthropologist and advises in the areas of Consumer, Markets & Innovation. He is specialized in qualitative methods and analysis, works with a deep understanding of peoples actual behavior, especially consumption-behavior.
In his everyday work he supports businesses and organisations in their developing of strategies, communication and new concepts based on analyzes of nordic and international consumption-culture.
